Hello all! It is finally the weekend! It seems like it took forever in getting here. This is a special weekend for many, Father's Day. Do you have a special tradition that your family practices on Father's Day? I sadly, am not in contact with my father. He is alive and I hope well. And I am sure Sunday will cause me to reflect back on our relationship, wishing it could be something other than what it is.
Relationships are difficult rather it is a friendship, mother child, father child or husband and wife. It requires constant effort on the part of all involved in order to succeed. Sadly, you can't force anyone to hold up their end of the relationship.
Having experienced a break in my relationship with my father, there is nothing on Earth my daughter could ever do to make me never want to be a part of her life.
Ok, so I got a little off topic, kinda!
What are your plans if any for the weekend? There is always Six Flags where you can experience the new roller coaster, The Boomerang. Or you can relax in Hurricane Harbor and try to stay cool.
If you are looking for a unique dinner, how about heading over to Tower Grove Park for Food Truck Friday. It is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Truck after truck lined up with delicious eats!
